Mario "Bury" Buricchi is born in Florence, Italy in April 1965. He studies at the Institute of Arts of Florence. His creative works have developed in different artistic fields: from jewelry to religious wooden objects, from fabric design to swimwear and up to home furnishings and decorations made from branches and tree trunks.
Art and creativity have always been part of his life. A lover of world traveling, his trips have become his source of inspiration, starting from the contemplation of the wonderful natural beauty of Mother Nature. In one of these trips he discovers the charm of Brazil and he chooses the city of Rio de Janeiro to hang his hat. His works are the result of a combination of Italian techniques, in particular ancient Florentine ones, transmitted from generation to generation, and raw materials
native to Brazil.
